Throwback Thursday: They called him “Handy Streak”. Blue Streak Car comes from a long line of racers. His great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather was a hand-drawn buggy racer. Notice how similar the logo is to Blue Streak’s modern logo. It’s a family tradition. Winning is in their DNA.

One thing that made Handy Streak special was the fact that he always carried an orphan during each race. (Look at the logo.) Family members always pulled the buggy (this was long before horses were domesticated). Despite the added weight of the orphan inside the buggy, Handy Streak most always managed to win each race.
