OUR STORY
Blue Streak Car is the premiere racecar of the Blue Streak Racing Team. But, Blue Streak Car is more than a car. It’s a persona and humorous/satire advertising vehicle for comedic effect. When not racing or making appearances at exhibitions and photo opps, Blue Streak does public service work in Lubbock, Texas. In the early years of Blue Streak’s career, Blue was the resident race pro there at Lubbock Traffic Safety Drive & Race Course. The Course has awarded Blue Streak for exemplary performance.
Blue Streak is an award-winning racecar. Some of the many awards include: attracting the largest crowd ever at a motorsport event (at Gekko Lizzardo Memorial Speedway) & being named the Honorary Team Transport by the Galactic Soccer Association.

History: (1882: Cornwall and Stevens was founded); 1992: Ron Hettler purchases a portion of Cornwall and Stevens insurance firm, opening Hettler Insurance Agency in Lubbock; 2000: HIA (Hettler Insurance Agency) receives license to sell commercial policies; 2014: Hettler Insurance Agency expands to their current building on S Loop 289 in Lubbock; 2017: Hettler agency continues to grow with a larger team to better serve their clients
